PERATURAN MENTERI PENDIDIKAN, KEBUDAYAAN, RISET, DAN TEKNOLOGI REPUBLIK INDONESIA

TENTANG
ORGANISASI DAN TATA KERJA POLITEKNIK NEGERI PONTIANAK

Article 41.
Paragraph 1. The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit is an academic support unit in the field of development and management of information and communication systems and technology.  

 Paragraph 2. The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit as intended in paragraph (1) consists of:
a. head; and
b. functional position groups.

Paragraph 3. The Head as intended in paragraph (2) letter a is subordinate to and responsible to the Director and in carrying out his duties is coordinated by the Deputy Director for Cooperation.

Article 42.
The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit has the task of carrying out the development, management and provision of
information and communication technology services as well as managing information systems and networks.

Article 43.
In carrying out the tasks as intended in Article 42, the Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit carries out the functions of:
a. preparation of plans, programs and budgets;
b. development and management of information and communication technology;
c. providing services in the field of information and communication technology;
d. development and management of information systems;
e. network development and management;
f. network maintenance and repair; and
g. implementation of administrative affairs.

UPA ICT was previously the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) for Information and Computer Technology. This unit was founded in 2002, headed by Achmad Marzuki R., MT (2002-2008). Furthermore, in 2008 UPA ICT was headed by Erman Prianto, ST (2008 – 2023). During his leadership, several information system services were added. Internet access has been increased to 100Mbps and continues to be increased every year until now it has reached 500Mbps and access has been increased at several campus points.

In accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 26 of 2023 concerning the Organization and Work Procedures of the Pontianak State Polytechnic, Article 41 Paragraph 1. The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit is an academic support unit in the field of development and management of information and communication systems and technology.

The Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA. TIK) is a Technical Implementation Unit which has a role in providing and servicing ICT (Information and Communication Technology) facilities which are under and directly responsible to the Deputy Director IV (Wadir. IV) of the State Polytechnic Pontianak. UPA. ICT is led by a Head appointed among senior administrative staff who has an educational background in the computer field. UPA. ICT is located at the Pontianak State Polytechnic Campus.

Visi

Menyediakan layanan TIK yang handal dan efektif untuk mendukung tercapainya a world class Polytechnic.

Misi

  • Mengembangkan aplikasi yang terintegrasi untuk mewujudkan Politeknik Negeri Pontianak yang berlayanan digital.
  • Mengembangkan jaringan komputer yang menjangkau seluruh unit kerja di Politeknik Negeri Pontianak.
  • Meningkatkan keterampilan sivitas Politeknik Negeri Pontianak dalam TIK.
  • Mengembangkan multimedia untuk keperluan organisasi, pembelajaran, dan layanan TIK.
  • Memberikan informasi yang akurat dan efektif kepada stakeholder dan masyarakat tentang Politeknik Negeri Pontianak.

Komitmen Manajemen

Untuk mendukung keberhasilan tercapainya visi dan misi UPA TIK, maka UPA TIK menetapkan langkah-langkah delapan prinsip manajemen, yaitu:

Customer-Focused Organisation, yaitu fokus pada pengguna untuk memahami kebutuhan dan harapan pengguna pada masa kini dan mendatang. Persyaratan produk yang diminta sivitas dipenuhi serta dilakukan pengukuran kepuasan pengguna.

Leadership, yaitu pemimpin menetapkan kesatuan tujuan dan sasaran pengguna serta menciptakan dan memelihara lingkungan intern dalam pencapaian tujuan.

Involvement of People, yaitu melibatkan seluruh staf sehingga kemampuannya mendukung pencapaian tujuan pengguna.

Process Approach, yaitu hasil yang dikehendaki tercapai lebih efisien bila kegiatan dan sumber daya terkait dikelola sebagai suatu proses.

System Approach to Management, yaitu mengetahui, memahami dan mengelola proses yang saling terkait sehingga memberikan dampak positif pada keefektifan dan efisiensi UPA TIK dalam mencapai tujuannya.

Continual Improvement, yaitu perbaikan berlanjut secara menyeluruh dijadikan tujuan UPA TIK.

Factual Approach to Decision Making, yaitu pengambilan keputusan yang efektif didasarkan pada hasil analisis data dan informasi.

Mutually Beneficial Supplier Relationships, yaitu menciptakan hubungan yang saling menguntungkan antara UPA TIK dengan sivitas Politeknik Negeri Pontianak sehingga kedua belah pihak saling menguntungkan.
